Arkley Dog Hotel
We have recently renovated our facilities to a industry leading standard. Our facilities are kept in immaculate condition with an array of activities available to make sure your dog(s) has an enjoyable stay.
We provide fully under floor heated kennels with seperate sleeping and paddock areas in each individual run. We also have several ‘family rooms’ enabling dogs from the same home to stay together comfortably. Dogs are fed balanced, nutritious diets based on their feeding schedule at home. Special diets are always catered for as well so if you wish to bring in your own food then please let us know!
Exercise
Your pet(s) has access to a multitude of exercise areas and activities at least twice a day, ranging from Astroturf play, dog walking and free play on the large rural land where they get to run around and make new friends. We are more than happy to allocate one-to-one time alone with your pets if that is required.

Frequently asked questions (help)
Booking
All new customers must complete the Customer Contact Details and Pet Details forms prior to boarding. No booking will be confirmed until they are completed. During peak periods (e.g. school holidays, bank holidays) we recommend booking well in advance as will be at full capacity.
Vaccinations
Dogs need to show proof of up to date vaccinations against Rabies, Distemper, and Parvo prior to boarding with us at Oak Cottage Kennels which is generally all covered in their annual booster injections.
Kennel Cough
Along with vaccinations we also require all dogs to have the Kennel Cough vaccination which is seperate from the annual booster at least 2 weeks prior to boarding with us.
Special Requirements
Pets with special needs can be accommodated and medicines can be administered. We have constructed specially adapted facilities to best look after these special pets.
We have cared for dogs with epilepsy, diabetes, amputated limbs, no exercise programme due to ligament damage, blind and deaf, very elderly and heavily pregnant with pups imminent and those needing round-the-clock supervision.
Pet Updates
We take as many pictures and videos as possible during your dog(s) stay and will update you while they are with us. During busy periods there may be a delay due to the large volume of boarders requiring updates also.
